I miss when shopping felt exciting… not overwhelming.
Here’s my reflection on an exhaustingly chaotic experience while shopping for a dress for date night in the mall. An experience that left me thinking, “I’m probably never shopping in-store again.”
As the African proverb goes, “it takes a village to raise a child.” But what happens when the village fades? The wellbeing of a child is the whole family’s responsibility, not just parent’s alone.
I’ve reached a point in life where I’m dissecting the reasons, expectations and reality behind having children. If I were to become a parent, what would be my reason(s) for doing so?
It seems that many people think to categorize rather than to familiarize themselves with the fact that we are all capable of existing in more than one context.
