Solitude is safety.
It’s calm there.
It’s quiet there.
And the only chaos
Is mine and mine alone.
Do I crave social interaction?
Companionship?
Intimacy?
Certainly, my dear.
Who doesn’t?
But I’ve learned that…
I find solace in solitude.
I find love in solitude.
I find growth in solitude.
I find creation in solitude.
I find more of myself…
In solitude.
Presently yours,
Analise
If my words have lingered with you, or you feel compelled to leave a note—or a rose of appreciation—you may reach me here.
Thank you for reading, and for crossing into The Diary of Analise Devereaux.
